my rasboras have been in social turmoil ever since the lead rasbora died from an intestinal blockage. I think that adding more rasboras may help calm down the situation. to do this, i must move my betta. I am going to get the aqua-tech 5G hex because it is the best value for my dollar based on comparisons of the various kits avalible to me here.
I was originally planning to do the betta, and then 2 otos once I get my algae in. this shouldn't take too long as i'm going to add a lot of items from my current aquarium. I know this is feasible in a normal 5G, but how about a hex? I am aware that hex tanks can support less life than a normal 5G because of the reduced surface area and horizontal swimming space. would I OS if I try to add a pair of otos? If not, i'll just add my columbian ramshorn from my 10G or my 2 ghost shrimp.
