I Have a pair of blue Gouramis (3 1/2 inches) in 20 gal tanks with 4 4" oscars about 2 months ago. Starting last week, the male Gourami has started to blow bubble nest. I want to get them to breed, so I need some help from some gurus who's bred gouramis before. Such as what tank size?, filter yes/no?, substrate?, food?, water temp? light? and the process to get them to breed. Thanks very much, I would be happy to give some fry away too. (if I successfully breed them :)). TIA

Oscars Will EAT gourami, not to mention the incompatability of Chichlide and tropicals. Remove them all and rethink what you want your tank to be. keep in mind oscars get 14 inches. or the size of a turkey platter.

I'm keeping my eyes open on craigslist for a 90-120gal to house my oscars. Waiting when the price is right. Can't afford a brand new tank now. BTW, i'm in Toronto, Ontario. If any one have a complete kit for a good price, i'm in

think 400G for 4

then I'm damned, what i'm I supposed to do now? My apartment is very small and I think 120gal is the max I can put. But I've seen people had oscars in very small tanks, such as <a href:http://toronto.craigslist.org/for/248896373.html>this</a>

Oscars dont stunt, nor do other cichlide, I got a dempsey of 14 inches out of 12 Gallons
Return the oscars, and rethink your tank

I'll try to get the biggest tank I can keep. But in the mean time, can I get some help on breeding blue gouramis?
