I was wondering, do we moving things around when we clean the tank gravel? I know that taking water and keeping it clean is important, but when I clean the gravel while taking water out, do I move things around to clean under them,( plants rocks etc.?

I think that you should, but I never do. My killies are extremely skiddish, so I try to disturb as little as possible when I do gravel vacuuming and water changes.

for weekly water changes, i gravel vac the areas that i can get to. every few months or so, i move the decor so i can suck up the gunk that builds up. i don't worry about the base of the plants though, it makes good food for them.

fake plants yes, real plants no.

to avoid stressing the fish too much, you could do 1/2 the tank as heavy duty cleaning, the other half just regular gravel vac. that way everything doesn't get disturbed every time.
