This darn fish keeps on getting up into the filter thru the little space between the cover and the bottom. What is he doin? he is long and then he sits with his head in it and then slithers all the way in it now he is between the filter and the wall inside the filter. i dont want him to die sometime if i dont catch it and make him come out. Anyone have any advice?

do you have a sand or gravel substrate? how many hiding places do you have? how big is the tank? what are your water params?
