I have a convict with some white/beige colored spots on her tail. I Have ruled out Ich there have been a couple on her tail for a couple of months but I thought it was some kind of damage. She has a few more now and they are different sized just on the tail fin her fins seem to be a little damaged maybe from a squirmish or something. I was wondering if you guys thought it might be fin or tail rot

the tank is 55 gallons
2 female cons
2 pictus catfish
5 rainbows
1 rubberlipped pleco
2 whisper 60s
ph 7.4
water quality is always kept great.
here are some pics the first two are the effected fin the third one is the same convict but you cant notice it the last pic is the other convict

Hi,

I have these on both of my Convicts and I think its just damage from a fight or something like that. So I don't think the whitish spots on your Convict's tail is a disease.

it might just be an area where you can see the growth or it might be an injury from a suffle

Yeah that is what it looks like to me but I thought I would get some more opinions, it was bothering me. She is eating and active more so sense adding the angels!
