I was haveing trouble loacating my Tire Track Eel today. Nothing strange about that as he likes to bury himself. Today I couldent loacate him at all, for like 10 hours! finally got a flashlight and looked in one of the HOBs, and there he was chillin under the filter media. (Nowhere near the impellor) LOL He looked fine and as it turns out he can get in and out at will. :p: Crazy fish!
 
I had a pair of chinese algae eaters that would no matter what I did to prevent it get into my filter, they would enter and exit as they pleased. Never got hurt or hurt anything, I think they just did it for the thrill of the rushing water around them.
