Almost looks like stargrass (Heteranthera zosterifolia) but I don't think it is. Some of the leaves look too rounded at the tip...maybe it's just the picture?
It's a little large (assuming those are full grown MTS) to be a species of Najas grass (aka guppy grass)...I think? :huh:

those arent full grown MTS, they are just under an inch. the plant itself is about 6 inch tall, and roots are growing out from the top of the plant and connecting it to the ground(if tht makes sense). i got the plant, and the MTS, from a member on this site. i havent been able to get in contact with them. ill try to take a better pic
