My apple snail has been in quarantine for nearly two weeks now since he reacted poorly to the Melafix treatment I gave my main tank. For the most part, he's doing very well but I've noticed that his shell seems to be getting worse. The small scrapes are now deep gashes so I started treating his quarantine tank with calcium. To help him even more, I bought fresh spinach and dipped it in boiling water for about two minutes. The problem is, he won't even touch the spinach. I don't want to use algae tablets because they cloud up the quarantine tank and create an ammonia spike. How do I make the spinach edible?
