Good or Bad?

Alright well i'm planting my 10 gallon tank that is going to have Sunset Platy's and Cory Catfish in it. Would it be recommended to have a heavily planted aquarium or a lightly planted aquarium?

Also, is it true that plants help with water quality?

Yes you can do what ever you want with heavily or not. Plants do help the water quality alot. You should get a school of something also.

i have Sunset Platy's in my tank. their bright colors pop out and look so nice. the more plants the better i think.
