2 canister filter setup

Currently running a 350 magnum cannister filter for the last year w/ a spray bar connected to the output, and find it noisy and not very user friendly. So I bought a filstar XP3 from Big Al' s.

Question is what is the optimum setup for 2 canisters.

1. Run in flowand out flow opposite sides of the tank
2. Run inflow and outflow on the same side of the tank
3. Maintain the Magnum spray bar setup, waterfall onside, and intakes on opposite sides.

What is the most effective way to setup 2 cannister filters max water flow and filtration? Eventually plan to swap the magnum after a 6 months and get either another Filstar cannister.

Appreciate the input on this one.

i really doeint matter although a reverse setup would seem most fuctional... or even a half and half.. you go halfway into the tank with one and the other stays on the outside edges

i would put one filter on one side of the tank and the other one on the other end.
