What would be some other interesting fish or inverts can i mix with these guys

What size tank? I hope its pretty big. :) I'm not sure how big those shrimp get, but I wouldn't trust big African Cichlids with most shrimp.

Live Aquaria where i bought the shrimp from says it can get to be 3 1/2 inches. I have a 55 gallon tank. I have a bunch of caves but am looking to put some more they all seem to hang out on one side. Any suggestions on how many more fish i can add. I was really just thinking about 2 or 3 more.

before you add any more fish. identify all the species you have and determine their adult size
ie trinidad pleco are reported to be 11"
frontosa's can reach 12"

while the fish may be young and appear to be doing okay..it may not be the same issue in a few weeks or months.

the fronts and africans will destroy the shrimp..

I have read that Duboisi do best in large groups, but your tank isn't large enough for that. Is that list in the first post all the fish/inverts you have in the tank? If so, do you know what kinds of "assorted africans" you have? You have some fish that will outgrow the tank (Frontosa, pleco) and some really aggressive fish (Duboisi, Bumblebee), so I really don't know that you should add anymore. Usually, its best that most Africans be kept in groups, but your tank just isn't big enough for that. The more aggressive fish are, the bigger the tank they should be kept in.

I think you should think about upgrading soon and then when you upgrade, think about adding more fish. You could possibly add something that is along the same aggression level as the fish you have, maybe a Kenyi, but I'm not sure how that would work.

Can you possibly post pictures of the "assorted africans", if you have some of these?

Wow the pleco really gets that big i didnt know that. Ok so maybe i will stay put right now. i have a total of 8 fish, the shrimp, snails i am taking the clam out cause it seems like a bad thing to have unless you really know how to care for them. Some people have told me that the fish will eat the shrimp and some people told me that it will be ok since i introduced them all at the same time.

i will definitely take some pictures tonight and hopefully post them tomorrow. i have a white albino cichlid, i think i have a kenyi already, i have a jeweled cichlid also and the other is a light blue with black and blue fins. i figured the assorted ones would be ok since petco had them all in the same tank.

If you have a total of 8 fish, could you post pictures of the other Africans so we could ID them? You already have some aggressive fish ID'ed and if you have others that are aggressive, you could be asking for trouble in the future. They may be fine now, but as they grow, they may not get along.

let me see
kenyi
