Propagating Anubias

So I have an anubias nana on a piece of driftwood in my 15 gal and a nice big chunk of wood with no plants on it in my currently empty 40 gal. None of my LFS sell anubias which aren't attached to anything, so is there any way I can take a cutting from my current one and attach it to my other driftwood? I was thinking maybe I could cut a piece of rhizome off, would this work?

Cutting a piece of rhizome will work. I cut off about 1/4 of the rhizome of a very small plant, with 2 leaves still attached. It has rooted over the past couple of weeks. Once the roots are bit stronger, I understand (although I may be wrong) cutting the leaves will cause the plant to push out new ones. I don't know if it is necessary or not. I think most rhizome plants can be done this way..

A note though, everywhere I looked recommended using the sharpest tool at your disposal as the rhizome is sensitive to jagged cuts.

I just break the rhizome like breaking a twig. I prefer to leave 4 leaves on but don't doubt 2 leaves will work.
I've heard that making small cuts in the rhizome will create new growth but have not had it happen for me :(
