Sick Female Dwarf Gourami?

I think my female dwarf gourami may be sick. She's been hanging out a lot at the top of the tank and doesn't seem to be herself lately. She also looks like she is gasping for air. Tank parameters seem normal, Temp 72, Ph about 7, Ammonia 0, Nitrites 0, Nitrate 10. Maybe shes stressed out from the male? See attached photo.

He does chase her occasionally. He seems to be leaving her alone lately though.

Well she died sometime last night. I don't know why. Maybe she was old, I don't know.
