I'm heading up to Milwaukee to go to Hoffers, what I've heard to be an amazing store. Now I know my angel will eat my neons and I may actually transfer them, but that leaves the real question about other fish. Can I fit anything else into here, and if so, would a few rummy-noses work? I don't wanna be flamed, I'm just asking a question. And I hear these are great schoolers, but are they hypercative like danios? Because I really want a fairly calm fish. Any suggestions other then them?

I doubt your angel will eat your tetras? My angels bodies are bout half dollar size and their mouths can't even fit a 2mm pellet in their mouth. My dad has also kept tetras with angels before, so long as the tetras had enough to school with, the angels left them alone and the tetras seemed happy.

angels get to at least 6 inches, and when they yawn you can see how large their mouths really are. they will eat anything that will fit in their mouths.

you will need to transfer your neons, so you can just go and get a 15 gallon tank and have a neon species tank- it will look pretty cool.

lemon tetras will look good in your tank with the angel. you could put 10 in there and that would finish your stock.

Well, I just got back and it was rather disappointing. They had perfect angels, unfortunatly thay had a bacterial infection. So I came home with a cute little banjo cat that was $10 cheaper then at my LFS and some nice jungle val. I think I'll just stick to the neons if they can make it.

So I just got him, and boy is he cute! He'll swim normally and then when a feeder guppy fry swims nearby he starts hunting it. But he obvoiusly isn't concentrating on swimming because he swims sideways and twists about. He hasn't caught one yet but I think it's a matter of time.
