I seem to have something that looks like white hair growing off some of the decor in my tank. Is this dangerous? The tank is currently being cylced without fish.What do i do?

If it's individual long strands, it might be thread algae. Can you get a picture?

It could be mold.

Its too small to get a pic it looks almost like cotton. Its clumped together. If it is mold should i be worried?
