I thought it might be neat to post some pics showing my tank from when I first started it til now. The first pic is from November 1, and the second is from today...almost two months have gone by. I'm new to the hobby of fishkeeping, but happy to report all original inhabitants are present and accounted for!

very nice setup you got there! before and after! you listed the gudgeons..i would add them, they are really cool!

Thanks! I'd love to add the gudgeons - I just can't find anyone that stocks them!

Thanks everyone for the kind words and encouragement. I'm really pleased with how the tank is turning out.

I only have a single 20W Aqua Flora Plus bulb timed for approx. 13 hours/day. I dose with Excel Flourish every other day, and add plant food supplement after my weekly water change. Seems to be working for now.
