Ok.... So I thought I had all males......
Turns out I had a female in the mix, though there is no difference between any of them..... and I've looked for all the tell tale differences...
Either way, I came home tonight, looked at the tank, and they had shovelled a ton of gravel around, and had made a pit. In that pit was a grey mass, and upon closer inspection, a mass of wigglers.....Maybe about 100 tops.
They are being very protective. Though normally docile to my cory and two ottos they are being quite aggressive. No complaints, as that's normal given the situation.
The question is as follows.
How/what is the best way to remove the fry from the tank? I don't want these parents tearing everyone up.
While I realize the fry may be eaten, I was thinking of buying a 2.5 or 5 gallon tank tomorrow and setting it up with an air filter already running in my current tank, and filling it with the water from my current tank, making it essentially cycled.
What do I feed them??????
Thanks!!!
I know CathyG will be a big help...
