Weekend feeders as fry food?

My guppy just had fry again - 3 of them and pretty large in size. However, I will only see my tank once every 4 or 5 days for the next 3 weeks. I've used weekend feeders for the adults (yes I know they foul up the water, but I do 30%-40% water changes when I replace them), but don't know if the fry can eat this too? If so, it seems that weekend feeders can be a really simple food for fry, especially for people who can't do feedings several times a day every day to raise them. I haven't found any information about this, and was wondering if anybody has any experience with feeding fry this way.

try investing in a auto feeder. weekend feeders are bad. plus fish dont need to eat every day.
That's not what I asked - like I said, I know weekend feeders are bad and auto feeders are preferable. This is specifically a question of feeding fry.

uh...Duh....put fry food in the auto feeder...your adult fish will eat it too...

I feel like you guys aren't even reading what I wrote. I know all about auto feeders. I was asking about weekend feeders as fry food. Is it possible? And has anybody here ever tried it?

they will pollute the tank and is not reccomended,

ya they will pollute your tank and you cant really clean a fry tank

Noone has answered his/her question yet. Now what type of fish are you feeding? I'm a little confused.

What do you mean? I do water changes just as I did before I had the fry, even more often considering the use of the feeder.

The food in the weekend feeders is not designed for fry. All of the food will not be ingested by the fry because the pieces of food in the weekend feeder is to big. The weekend feeders were not designed for fry. You are better off just putting the fry food in an automatic feeder and both the fry and the adults will eat the food.
