Any cories for a 7g tank?

imo, no cory should be housed in that tank, especially since they; A) already have guppies in there (bioload) and B) they need to be in schools, which your tank will not support.

kudos, but it might be a worthwile investment to get a bigger tank.

in my opinion, cories LOVE to school, but in a ten gallon, no cories can school. But i've never had problems if I keep just two cories together. In fact, not so long ago I had 2 in a ten gallon together and they were perfectly happy. I guess you could put two or even three in there if you don't have many other fish.

but its ok to keep 2 peppered corys in a 10gallon?

Hi,

You should never have just two, because Cories need to be kept in groups. Three or four Peppered Cories would be okay for a 10 gallon IMO.

What about dwarf cory's, they only get about 1 1/2" I figure at least 2 or 3 would be O.K. for a 7 gallon.

Hi,

That might work, but he would have to have atleast four because they need to be in groups.

The dwarf cories are pretty sensitive to water quality and they do best in larger groups (6+ IMO). If you get any for the 7g, get atleast 6.
