they had the absolute cutest little undyed jellybeans at wal-mart, of all places. the one near me is actually quite decent, and the little parrots were all healthy. only about the size of a dollar coin, too. almost caved in, but they didn't have a label. . . . and i don't have a tank to put them in. much more attractive than the red ones IMO.

are you sure that they are "real" jelly beans parrots? a "true" jelly bean parrot is a cross between a male convict and a female blood parrot, and they have the face and attitude of their father.
they only grow to aobut 4 inches, so anything bigger than 30 gallons will be fine for a single jelly bean and some dithers.

red jelly beans are dyed, unless they are blood parrots (but if they were a birght, flourescent red, they were dyed). their "natural" color is either a light orange or a shade in between a light red and orange. a "naturally colored" jelly bean is white, but not albino.

well, i can't seem to find a pic. . . they were parrot shaped (hard to get confused about that), but a light grey with dark stripes on the sides. maybe just juveniles? there was no red color in the whole bunch. petsmart had them too, larger though.

yeah, that works. just juveniles of the regular blood parrots i guess. oh well.

My local wamart also had these the last time I was there. Labeled parrot fish. They have good quality fish that are well taken care of also. I was seriously thinking of getting one, they were only about an inch big. But i have no place to house one and I didnt like the way there mouths didn't seem to move..
