To make a long story short, a while back, my 12g got fungus and a lot of my fish died. I started out with a betta, 3 adult platies, 1 baby platy, and 3 cories (panda, I think).

All I have left now are 2 adult platies and the 1 baby. Things have been running smoothly now for several weeks and I'd like to start adding again. I may actually give the platies away and go with something totally different (I like them but I tend to find that they're somewhat obnoxious).

I think I'd really just like to go with something more interesting (& if I end up keeping the platies that would be fine too).

OPINIONS PLEASE!!!

I heard that those things will attack and eat the fish. Is that true? Is there anything that it is incompatible with?

I think you're thinking about the African Clawed Frog.

Well, maybe. I guess I'm just thinking of frogs in general. I don't really know much about them, I never kept them before. Is it true that they're a pain to feed because they don't look for their food?

Any other fish/critter suggestions are welcome.

Let me rephrase my original question: What is the absolute COOLEST thing that will fit in a 12g?
