Get down tonight!

Ya I know, sorry...couldn't help it! LOL

I would like any tips some of you may have regarding breeding of Silver Dollars. I am a angel and discus breeder, but have recently becomed interested in breeding these guys after seeing them "do a little dance" while I was watching the tube. This is from my 180gal.

Here is a video I took today if your curious: http://media.putfile.com/Silver-Dollar-Dance

These two keep chasing each other and every few minutes will "dance" with each other. I take this as fish language for getting ready to spawn.

So, should I let it be or place them in their own tank? I have many 40's and 30's gals in the garage and wouldn't be any trouble setting up their own tank but I don't know if I should separate the school? There is only 4 of them for now until I get some more unless you count the two parrots who school along side with them 80% of the time. I have a 10gal full of java moss already set up but feel it would be too tiny as there are 4" but if it would work, then great...would be less trouble for me.

I'm not finding good resources online about breeding them so I am hoping maybe someone with experience resides this board can help or give some pointers in the very least. I'll take just about any info regarding this.

Thank you so much!!!!!

I'd be very interested in this info as well, i just recently picked up a colony of seven 41/2"-7" silver dollars(3m/4f i think)

No chasing and dancing from mine yet, just lots and lots of colour(mainly red) coming out in my suspected males...

Keep me updated Moon and i'll do the same :)
