Was it internal parisites?

I just walked in to feed my fish and my guppy is lying on the floor of the aquarium dead. For the last week I had thoughten she was somehow pregnant after all this time away from a male. Her gravid spot was dark and her stomach was starting to look square. Was this really some internal parasite? I thought her tummy was maybe full of food till 2 days ago when it got square
 
Oh and I ran out of testing supplies, im going to the lfs this afternoon
 
Agree with MPQ (as usual!). There's a very easy way to tell but my be a little grotesque for some who see the fish as pets...autopsy. If you see little fish, she was pregnant :idea:
 
but the wierd thing is, her gravid spot got dark a week ago, then belly squared up a few days ago, isnt this to fast for it 2 be birthing? Test results are as follows:
Nitrate-30
Nitrite-about 8(gasp im gonna do a water change)
gh-75
kh-cant read my handwriting but i think 180
ph-7.8

ill test 4 ammonia in a min......should i do that after the water change?
 
how long should i wait after hte water change to test again?
 
well im testing cause i stil have more fish in there
