ok i changed my plans for my marine set up and after a quick measure i have 3'' space on one side of the tank.
so i am now going to use a sump with a deltec ap600 skimmer that has the eheim pump set up.
i need to know what size holes to get drilled in the side of the tank for the inlet and outlet and also the hole for the outlet i need to know how to set it up and overflow design, pipework diameters required etc etc etc.
i also need to make a sump that will house the skimmer some media and the return pump so if anyone has a design i can use for marine it would be appreciated.
the tank is a 32''Lx32''Wx24''H and the sump can be around 24'' long max but can be 15''-18'' wide and 12-15'' high.
basically i know nothing of sump set ups especially marine i need all the info i can get, i will however be able to make whatever i need and have the ability to build the set up myself.

Hey there mate..If you like, you can have a look at my thread for the sump design and plumbing that i am doing at the moment, its not for a drilled setup, its for an over flow box system..Dont trust myself drilling holes in glass..

http://www.aquariacentral.com/forums/showthread.php?t=90172

My sump is 36 long, 15 high and 12 wide..I am having 8 inch inlet area, 15 inch refugium area, and 11 inch return area..

Hope that helps a little mate..
