hey,nice tanks :thm:
just letting you know your goldfish will need about a 55 gal soon....the ammonia will build up in that 10-15gal(?) and kill them.
for now do 50% WC's every day.
good luck. :)

Hey thanks. I'm finally all done editing and it's ready for a final review! Yeah I can't have a bigger tank cause of living in a apartment. so my best friend is going to get my two big fish and ill just have the small fish until they get too big then i start all over.

what do you plan on doing with them once they are too big??
you could take them back to your pet shop and stock that tank with some small schooling fish and a few other things...for a 29 gal you could keep 1 goldfish(I think).....

when the small ones get too big ill trade them in for small ones. and just keep doing that and starting over... i love goldfish. and their easy for me to keep.. but i appreciate the suggestion on the schooling thing

Fish are not expendable items you should just return when you get tired of them or can't take care of them. If you're going to take responsibility for an animal, you should be willing and able to properly care for it for the duration of its life, not just pass it on when it gets too much of a hassle to deal with.

schooling fish, bettas, gouramis, small cichlids, cory cats, ottos, guppies, mollies, platys, endlers, killi fish and so many more can be kept in a ten gal...they are much easier to take care of than goldfish....alot less water changes & tests too.
like I said, you can prolly keep 1 if that tank is a 29 gal. :)

Thanks GK, fish_freak, and rbishop for the comment! I'm sadden to say my goldies will be going to a new home on the 17th. My friend is getting a 75g to home them in. And I'm going to turn my 29g into a home for Dwarf Gourami's, Bristlenose Pleco, 5 Corys (which i already have), and possibly some neon tetras or male guppies. I haven't decided quite yet what I want for tankmates for the gourami's. I also want to get some Java Moss for my live plant. I'm sick of the plastic ones. I got the Stealth 200 heater for my bday from my friend. so when goldies are out i'll get that on to get the temp ready for the corys and the others.... I'll have pictures Up in about 2 weeks.
check back!!
thanks again

Hello,
careful with the dwarf gourami's. You can only keep one male gourami at a time. They are very peaceful fish until you put 2 in together, then they turn into the incredible hulk towards each other.
I have read some people were able to get more than one but I think it won't work on your 29 gallon because I tried that already on my 29. I had to give one to my best friend.
Def get 1 dwarf gourami for your centerpiece fish and compliment him with guppies and tetras. I'd probaby do 6 tetras to get them to school and how many ever guppies you want.
