Worms turning snails into zombies, controlling their brains, making them climb a tree high enough for birds to eat parts or them, so the worm eggs can grow in the bird, come out of its poop, get eaten by other snails, hatch in the snail, and the process continues.

Straight out of what would seem to be a science fiction novel.

But it's all true!!!

I love life. Truth can be so much stranger than fiction. This is better than "Body Snatchers"!! Pod people make way. .. . . . .:joe:
 
Let's not forget kuri kuri, or laughing sickness. Causes the infected person to giggle, laugh, and chuckle in ever increasing attacks. Eventually the person dies from exhaustion, dehydration, malnutrition or heart failure. The fun part? There's only one way on earth to catch it. By eating infected human brain tissue. That's right, cannibals have been eating each other for so long in some parts of the world, a disease evolved to take advantage of it.
