29G stock suggestions.

hello
earlier tonite a friend gave me a wal-mart special 29g starter tank.
he had bought it as a gift but i guess changed his mind.

i was wondering what would be good to stock it with.
i prefer cichlids over anything for their unique personality and colors.
any suggestions and/or advice will be greatly appreciated.

How about a South American type tank with some tetras, Keyhole Cichlids or Rams, and some cories. :)

Or you could go with some Africans from Lake Tanganyika. I'm not too familiar with which ones would work in a 29g, but I'm sure someone around here knows.

I would go with rams as well. I prefer the golden ones. You could add some tetras, or instead of rams, perhaps you could go with gourami's. I too would add some cories on the bottom, or maybe some zebra loaches.
