I seem to having a problem where the silicone that was sealing in my CO2 line into the cap of my juice bottle keeps turning into slime and leaking. Any suggestions for alternative sealants?

you can do it w/o any glue.... all you have to do is cut a hole that is smaller than the tube and cut the end of the tube at an angle to make a point and put the point through the cap and then use pliars to pull it all the way through.... that wasnt my idea, but thats what i do... and i forgot who said it, but i hear dit on this board.... and soda bottle work the best because they are made to resist the pressure....

OK, so I lurked a lot.

I too use the same method of drilling cap holes smaller than the airline tubing to seal my diy co2. I've tried silicone, teflon, diy bulkhead fittings etc, and the simplist method turned out to be the best.

good luck
:)

I bought some aquarium sealant and gooped it around the hole. Works quite well for me.
