We have a 75 gallon setup with 2 delhezi bichirs (4-6 inches), 6 roseline sharks, 1 bushynose pleco, 1 other pleco, and a few smaller tetras that are expected to be food but haven't been eaten in a long time. We have them in there not because we specifically approve of having live fish as food, but we hope that if the bichirs feel like live food they will go for the cheap, smaller tetras instead of the expensive roselines.

Anyways, I have no experience with angels. Would they do ok in my type of setup?

There's a huge log, lost of bubbles, 7.0 pH, nitrate 5-15, nitrite 0, ammonia 0. There's also plenty of plants.

Roselines move around alot and are kinda fast, and inhabit the lower-middle section, while the bichirs are pretty calm and do most of their moving at night. Is there anything special I should know about angels?

I would think that the angels would not appreciate the activity levels of the roselines....and the bichirs will definitely be an issue (and very possibly swallow the roselines) once they exceed 14" or so (which will not take long).

Angels are okay for this set-up and do great with bichirs.

The bichirs however will eat the roselines eventually. But to prevent this as much as possible make sure they are well fed. In my years I have learned that bichirs are like dogs and have different personalities it seems. Some if given the chance will devour anything in the tank that will fit in their mouths and others won't care. I've kept a full grown bichir along side dojo's for years but when I added another full grown bichir he ate one almost instantly (of course I removed the rest of the dojo's) however I will bet that 95% of them will not be fine with smaller fish. I have Bichirs that will eat from my hand and some that go hiding the minute I walk to the tank....I love these guys..very interesting fish!

Bichirs will eat other bichirs as well, so make sure they are similiar sized. I learned that the hard way.
