I got two of these, cause i heard they were good algae eaters. Has anyone had any experience with these guys, if so can you tell me how big they grow. and if they really are good algae eaters.

I got two them; had 'em for about a year now. Thought I'd lost them, they stay in a hollow resin driftwood thingie.
Anyway, they were out and about the other night and I was shocked at heir size! About the thickness of my thumb and 5-6 inches long.
Not eating the sides of the tanks anymore, quess they are munching on the algae wafers since no other fishies have gone missing.

If they are labeled correctly, they are also referred to as the "True Siamese Algae Eater". I have 4 and they seem to play with one another.

I have a flying fox, he's a pretty cool fish. About 5" long at the moment, and pretty fat. Doesn't bother any of the other fish.
