Does everyone have this problem. I mean every 3-4 days about 3-5 gallons evaporate and I do not have an RO sysstem. I have no cover on the tank and 2 65 watt actinic and 2 65 watt of the other bulb. What can I do?

What size tank, filter, air pump?
Tank water temp, room temp, how long are your lights on?
Anything covering the bulb from the water?

Stuff like that can help answer your problem.

If you do put a cover on your tank, keep an eye on your pH. It may drop.

Keeping an open top helps to off gas CO2 which is acidic and lowers the pH.

Make sure to check your salinity level too... Water evaporates but salt is still there. I like to add treated freshwater (VERY SLOWLY THOUGH) to the SUMP when the water evaporates to make sure salinity isn't too high.
