All glass aquarium hood wattage

Ok, i bought a full cover for my 20 gallon tank. It was the all glass aquarium brand. Ive checked the box, instructions and website. I cannot find out the wattage this thing can withstamd because i dont think the bulb it came with will keep my plants alive
 
20 watts will work for me... most of my plants are low light anyway. otherwise ill just move the high light plants to my other tank
 
I believe the 20 gallon size All-Glass hoods use a 15 or 17 watt bulb. It should specify on the metallic or white sticker on the back of the light strip as to what wattage bulb the ballast is rated to accept.
 
yea i was looking at bulb and it had a tiny 17 on it in. so im guessing its a 17 watt
