Do a 30% water change, put in the bio-spira.

i would actually recommend dumping it in there without a water change.. that means you will have more bacteria to feed on the ammonia and nitrites that are currently present in your tank.. if you did a water change you would run "low" on the bacterias food and in turn be left with the amount of bacteria that is needed for your current tank as opposed to having a slight bit more than needed

makes sense, what about adding fish a few or alot.

try adding a bit more.. the bacteria will be able to handle the load.. but obviously you dont wanna spike the tank.. about 3-4 fishes?... and add the fish then the bio spira

how many fish you can add or should get rid of depends on how big the tank is. how many gallons is the tank?

meadiocre in hardiness. not *** aggressive as tiger barbs.. but still a bit aggresive... try going for a centerpiece in your tank.. :]..
