Hi I have no idea what sort of plant this is, not because it's rare or anything just because I don't know what it is i'm sure you guys will beable to tell me.

What sort of care will I need is this a beginner plant? or is it sure to die with no C02 or big lighting kit.

Thankyou let me know if you need a better picture I tried to take it without a whole bunch of fake plants to throw you off.

The plant isn't in the best health I only got it today it's kind of brown i'm hoping it will pick up, I went in for Java Fern or Moss they didnt' have any and I was sold this but I can't for the life of me remember what it is, I was looking for something my avid zuccini/spirulina loving DG wouldnt' eat.
I will try and get a better picture tomorrow in daylight, does the plant you linked to have a common name?

I hope it is the one you say it says it's good for beginners.. that would be me.. haha

Dwarf Hygrophila is the common but if you google hygrophilia polysperma theres lots of info.. also you can browse the tropica website and figure it out as you have a better view of your tank than i do lol.

I am pretty sure it is a nutrient/light-deprived Ludwigia repens.

That is NOT L.repens. Some of the leaves look shorter due to the angle but look at the other leaves...that's H.polysperma in some form or another.

A picture from above, shooting down so we can see the plant from above would be helpful :)

you are right..the top leaves look like repens, but I see the lower ones are way too long. Whatever it is, it is suffering.

See if you can take a better picture~
