I just got started in fish keeping... Been a long time fisherman, and I think my tackle box is visible in the third pic.

Pretty bare right now. Currently there are three gold twin bar platys 1 male, two females (the male is separated now with ich) and two male wagtail platys. The plants are fake, but I intend to go real down the line. As the pictures show, there is a window right by the tank that will provide excellent sun light for plants.

The second pic is the male twin bar with ich... He's doing much better and should be returning to the main tank soon.

The third is just showing the current set up... The last one is the best pic I got with my initial set up. You can see all of this fish except for one.

The long term plans include the addition of six or seven cories and a dwarf gourami pair.

Hope I am on the right track.. Point out anything wrong, please :read: :dance2:

This is my little tank with some platy fry... Nice and blurry, just how I like it.

Looks great, very colorful fish. Careful with the sunlight from the window because this is an invitation for algae growth. I'd put in a black background and go for artificial lighting instead. Good luck fishkeeping!

I don't think too much light will get though... I'll keep the blinds closed most of the time. I'll deal with that once I get real plants.

nice fish coloration!

A good start Sonic.

Sorry about that... Camera was a Christmas present... Still figuring it out.

Ya know, if you take the picture with the camera angled down or up towards the aquarium, you won't get a glare. That is what I do, and it works perfect.
