Do you want live or fake plants? How big is your tank? What type of fish do you keep? :)

I'm intrested in setting up a planted tank. Well actually I kind of have a planted tank already. But it needs works. It's a 10 gallon tank. The only fish I have in there are: one male betta, one otto catfish and one small bristlenose pleco. I plan on moving the pleco to my 30 gallon tank in a little while. I've got a few plants in there now and they are doing pretty good. Although I'm not sure what kind of plants I have. I do put fertilizer in the tank about once a month. Well I try to put feritlizer in the tank once a month.

Are you pretending to be me? lol!
My tank will be a thirty gallon. It is quite long and not very tall. I would like it to look as if i have just plucked it out of the river so was thinking of real plants, and driftwood. Things like that. I would like to keep some fish that sim in the lower to upper levels of the tank, like harlequins and zeberadanios and neon tetras. And then maybe keep some Kribensis in the bottom of the tank so that i can breed them. That would be awesome. If u could help it would be great.

Thanks. Alex

I get ideas from cruising the sites that sell custom tanks. You may have to scale down a bit, but they always have fresh ideas.
