Tiger Barbs sick or...what's going on?

As my sig indicates I have a 46g bowfront dedicated to tiger barbs. I think i have something going on in there.

Here's the deal, I had one smaller barb that was hanging in a top corner alone for..at least a couple weeks. I thought it to be just some kind of social problems as there were a couple bigger barbs in there dominating. The past few days I took note that this particular barb wasn't eating, it would make a few attempts if it was able to get to food without the others getting there first but would spit the food back out and give up and head back to it's corner. It's gotten progressively worse the past day or so, looking rather emaciated. I was unable to find it at all when I was home earlier. I suspect it died since this morning it was just kind of resting on some exposed sword roots at the bottom.

Now there is another of the smaller barbs acting a bit lethargic. Hanging out near the bottom and seeming to shimmy from time to time. It seemed a bit uninterested in eating today.

The rest all eat fine but I do have a few that seem to have swim bladder problems. They swim fine but when they stop they "head stand". I also notice some flashing from time to time lately from any of them at any given time. I have tried giving them sinking food or soaking flake food but it doesn't seem to make a difference.

As for my tank it's moderately planted, established for 2 months or so. Water parameters are 0 ammonia, 0 nitrite, and 10 nitrate. Does anyone have any idea what might be going on? Just stressed/genetically inferior fish or do I have an infection/illness? If so, what might it be and what should I treat with? I added some salt today to help ease the stress on the "sick" ones. Any help anyone might have would be appreciated!

The red writing about the head standing i think is very normal as my tiger barbs do that in the weed in the evening once the light has gone off. it does look weird but i beleieve it is normal.

As for the "flaoting" one in the corner, it seems as though he has either fallen sick and been left by the others/feels intimidated by the others or could have possibly been bullied...

Are they all the same type of tiger barb? (the orange and black ones or do you have some of the green ones?)

What exactly is the size range of the tiger barbs from largest to smallest apporx.? try and post a picture if you can.

What do you feed them? and how often?

I will see about posting a picture when I get home later. I have 6 (maybe 5 now) typical (orange/black) tiger barbs, 6 albino tiger barbs and 6 of the green tiger barbs.

I have read the "head standing" can be a normal resting position, this seems to strike after eating though and would flip them over if they didn't work to stay upright. However, I'm thinking that particular symptom is the least of my worries at the moment, but I wanted to mention it at least.

I would say the largest would be a couple of the albinos at maybe 1.5-2 inches and the smallest being the "sick" regular tiger barbs at probably 1 inch.

They get TetraMin Granules as their staple 1 sometimes 2 times a day. I try to alternate between the granules and an HBH brand veggie flake. That's been the extent of their diet lately. I also have plants in the tank they could sample. I feed max 2 times per day, sometimes once sometimes not at all. I've been irregular lately, but generally it's 1-2 times per day.

ok, well dont feed them for 2 days as they do gauge them selves any ways, they may get fiesty but just let them starve and see if they improve.

also try some live Daphnia as its good for digestive system OR try some frozen blood worm once defrosted..

It is a resting position. Mine do that when they are sleeping. But they also do that when they are sick.

Tiger barbs are known to be mean, but I think they are big chickens.
