Hey There

My name is Matt. I just discovered your wonderful forum. I have had a fish tank since I was about 10 when my dad thought i was old enough to take care of it. When I came to college I couldnt bring it cause I lived in a dorm. But now I have my own house and just brought it down. Its a custom tank thats over 30 years old. Im not sure of its volume but with the gravel rocks and plants it took 63 2qrt pitchers to fill up so im guessing its around 45 gallons. Ive been trying to decide which fish to buy when I found AC. Any suggestions would be wonderful. I like schooling fish.

my tank is in the shape of an elongated octagon so i dont know if a calculator would work. based off of the amount of 2qt pitchers it took to fill it up i have a good enough idea.
