Hello i check out a lfs today Aquarium Adventures. AWESOME PLACE. I am going to have them over and do some upgrades maybe a new 290 wave front.
Anyways I want to upgrade the top. I want an all glass top, new lighting (best for moonlight and planted freshwater with fish) I want to also upgrade the eheim wet/dry filter to new ones, pullthe ugf and powerheads, pull the hob filter, add dual external heaters (should i do internal stealths?), add a uv filter.
as far as the lighting
glass tops are pretty generic - any brands to consider? I want to have a tight fit around the back.
lighting - I like the orbit 4 lamp 24 hour. 96" is too long for the tank? what all do you recommend? I want a good light. are fans really necessary? I don't want to hear anything. My filters are already so quiet - eheim!
