Can you tell me why the CO2 Proof tubing is better then regular air tubing?

Same with the brass vs plastic check valves.

CO2 Tubing vs Regular Tubing
CO2 permeability is greater with silicone and airline tubing according to Coleparmer's Tubing Permeability Chart. For example, Polyurethane is rated at 395, whereras Silicone is rated at 20,132. Lower numbers are better. Polyurethane tubing will not brittle quickly like vinyl and silicone due to CO2 exposure. Better tubing equals to less CO2 lost and eliminates the need replace old airline tubing.

Brass vs Plastic Check Valves

Brass check valves will not degrade and are designed to work with CO2 for multiple years. Plastic check valves aren't made for CO2 use, and will eventually fail, or need replacing. To protect yourself from wet floors, or damage CO2 Regulators it's worth having a Brass Check Valve.

Sweetwater Stones
These sweetwater diffuser stones produce fine, mist like bubbles which increases the ability for CO2 to dissolve in the water. Placed under water current, these bubbles will help plants get the CO2 needed for photosynthesis. Also useful if one needs to oxygenate the water.
