Just noticed tonight. Tiny dark spot on the back of one scale. No noted injury. Swimming and eating well. Spot is almost black and is, indeed, very small.
Tomorrow is water change nite. Since I have to have assistance from my husband for this "procedre" (carpal tunnel surgery + 11 days), I can't change the day. Perhaps I should move her to the QT tank?!
I have Melafix and Pimafix on hand. I also have QuickCure, aquarium salt (for potential Ich outbreaks only, not used regularly). Should I try any of these for the proscribed number of days? I don't really want to medicate for no good reason, however, if this is "something" I'd rather be proactive than reactive.
