My fish started appearing a little lethargic in the last couple days. I finally got around to doing a Nitrate test. There were ~120 ppm of Nitrate in the water. I wasnt expecting this, since I have been adding new plants recently. I went ahead and did a 45% water change. The fish immediately became much more active. The schools are now schooling again.
Also, I have found that Anacharis and Gouramis do not get along well. Within a few days of putting two anacharis plants in my tank, the 3 Gouramis I have completely stripped the plants of all of their leaves.
