I have been unable to find Bio-Spara i my area, so I think I am going to try Cycle. Has anyone ever used it, and how did it work. Also if anyone lives around my area (Union County, New Jersey,) do you know where do find Bio-Spara?

bio Spara is the only thing i know of that works. best bet is to find someone with a cycled tank and take some gravel or filter media.

or there is always ammonia.

Well, there is already a betta in the tank, so I was considering possibly ordering Bio-Spara online, but if Cycle worked, I was going to pick it up tomorrow at the store.

i think cycle has the wrong type of bacteria that will just die off and might cause more problems. getting filter media would help a lot.

Ok, I'll get some filter media from my dad's cycled tank, and use that. Thanks for the help.

P.S.- If I ordered Bio-Spara, how would I use it? Can I use it with the Betta in the tank?

just put how many oz in the tank as its called for.

I tried 2 full bottles of "cycle" in the first 2 weeks of my cycle, as near as I can tell it did nothing. My cycle took 6 weeks.

Ditto! Was a waste of money, IMO.

i guess thats two votes for snake oil. there are a lot of products that they sell for fish tanks that really dont do anything.
