Red Jewel need help...

I have a 3 red jewel 1 4" male and 2 3" female. Recently they are showing signs of breeding, is it possible that a male will breed with 2 female red jewel. i'm very interested in breeding them but i don't have any experience and little knowledge in breeding them. And also, i bought some driftwoods. but when i set upmy tank and put water in it the driftwoods float. i believe i'm missing something. i need help re:on this matter.

most driftwood does float and needs to be held down with rocks or an attachment to a piece of slate. after some number of months, it will become waterlogged and finally sink on its own, though this can take a long time. sometimes, if you boil it in water for a period of time, you can speed up the process.
