Ok I have had my tank set up for a little over a month now.. When I first got my tank I added 1 red claw crab...about 2 weeks later the crab died...so I went back to the store and exchanged him for another crab....this was about Dec 17th today is Jan 12 and there are now 2 crabs in my tank... HOW is that??? The new crab is smaller than the original crab... I am wondering did it have a baby??? Why is it so big and I have only had the new crab for about 3 weeks, do they give birth to ive crabs...or do they lay eggs....HELP I am confused on how I now have 2 crab

It could possibly be that the crab you had before hand had the babies. Thats why its 'so big so soon'.
