I saw these Marina® Micro LED Lights at Petsmart, but they're awfully expensive I think. Have any of you used this? If you use something else, where did you get it? Also, what's the color best used to observe nocturnal species, blue or red?

I looked at those, then I saw a string of 50 outdoor LED Christmas lights at k-mart for $2.50. Guess which one I bought 4k ohms of resistors and 38 lights cut off the string and I have great looking moonlights for a fraction of the price. I can write something up on how I did them if you'd like.

i didnt like those

i bought a differnt style at meijer has like 8 LEDs in base

no power box or anything strictly plug and play

btw i use red under my waterfall and fish seem to love it at night

including myself so i dont run into the darn thing at night
