What are some plants i can use in my goldfish tank they wont eat and has the chance to grow so my tank will look pretty and it will keep my levels maintained. ? they love the Anacharis ...
is there any plants that arent too messy... ?

i have fleurolescent lighting. not sure the wattage.

i'd also like a few names of plants for my betta. he is in a 5 gallon minibow . he has the screw in light.

thanks!

as long as it has large, hard leaves the goldfish cannot fit in their mouths, such as amazon swords, anubias, and java fern, it's perfectly safe with them.

Thanks everyone! I will be going to petsmart hopefully this weekend and i will take a look to see what they got.
is there any other good places to buy those plants from?

I use java fern...looks "ehn" in the store but once you have it in the tank and it starts to fill out it looks great. Attach it to some ornaments

I don't think it would be worth the price to ship it, it only cost me $1.99 a plant at petco.

yes i hear the java fern mention quite a bit so im going to try to go to petsmart this weekend and price it and see what they got..

what kind of lighting do i need?

i have a fleurolescent light. not sure the wattage?

with java fern your regular hood light is fine. It's does fine in low light. I have no CO2, just stock lighting and minor ambient light and they do very well.

ok thank you.!
