OK I decied to get another 75 gallon tank. The old lady said not to get rid of our hungry 8" tinfoil..... She said just get another tank.... Well OK

I got another 75 gallon tank with 2 eheim 2329 pro3 canisters. I am wondering what kind if tank to setup for the tinfoil... I like the sand instead of rocks/pebbles? Should I add power heads or other filters, my existing tank has a hob and ugf with powerheads.

will the new setup work with these fish?

2 BALA SHARKS APPROXIMATELY 7 INCHES LONG
2 COY APPROXIMATELY 5 INCHES LONG
2 CATFISH AROUND 6 INCHES LONG

how much are these fish worth? I have a guy that is getting ot of the hobby and wants to sell these guys. Will the tinfoil be OK with them in the tank? I don't want to have the same problem again and have to get another tank. I was just going to get rid of the tinfoil and setup a cichlid tank. But she was like you can't just get ride of the fish - even though we have be replacing fish for the last month he has been eating. like 4-5 a week.
Is it ok to use some of the water from the existing tank and put one of the eheims from the existing tank to get things started. Then put everything back where they should be later. The existing tanks parameters are perfect. Would the water paramenters be ok for the above fish also.

Anyways your thoughts are appreciated.

bala sharks get to be 14 inches long, are extremely active, and like to be in schools. you would need at least a 180 gallon tank for a group of 6.

koi are coldwater fish and grow to be around 3 feet long. they really need to be kept in ponds or tanks of over 1000 gallons.

what kind of catfish do you have?

tinfiols also get to large for your tank. they grow to be at least a foot long and also like to be kept in schools.
