If you leave these attached to the aquariums, is it bad for them? will the water eventually deteriorate the magnet or plastic casing? or should you take it out after you're done cleaning.

ok. I'm glad. My tank is off the ground so when I walk by it, it's at eye level.
Hence, whenever I have to clean it, I need a ladder and a huge reach!
The mag float works GREAT! I can't believe I haven't had it until now.
The one I got actually works on the hard spot algae too, it you work at it.
Mind you the spot algae has only been there for a couple days.
