I'm running a slightly smaller SW setup.. and notice alot of bubble coming from the return line, not like a fine foam but littleraly big bubbles.....any idea

Could also try raising and lowering pump out of the water and slowly lower back in, sounds like you have air trapped..That that with my maxijet powerheads..had bubbles for ages untill i was told to do that...You get an initial blast of bubbles when it first goes back in the water, but then should clear..As a note though, i had to do a couple of times with a powerhead before it blew clear...I dont see why a powerhead and pump doing this should be different..Worth a try, nothing to loose...

pump is submerged with 8 inch of water over, prefilter is in place, 2" water continual fall into the system
was justa suggestion about raising the pump out ofnthe water...As this worked for my power head issues..Obviously, by raising out of water all water inside pump is replaced by air and when re-submerged in water, the new influx of water into the pump will force any trapped out..
